2016 // Badfish Viewers’ Choice Awards Winners
Well that’s a wrap!
Big thanks to everyone that took the time to vote for their favorite videos of 2016. Congrats again to all the nominees, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2017!
And now, your winners of the 2nd annual Badfish Viewers’ Choice Awards:
Our friends at FlyLords did a stellar job capturing the intricate waters and absolute monster trout of Blue Ridge, GA with familiar face Will Taylor of FlyShopCo. FlyLords has been sharing incredible stories all year long through their social media channels and we’re stoked to see what adventures unfold in the new year.
Short and sweet getting the job done. After coming in a close second last year, Chris Cambell gets to take home the 2016 hardware with tidy sailfish on fly edit. Atta Boy Chris, I’m sure we’ll see you again next year.
Well no surprises here. Arguably the best fishing film of 2016, Cosmo was flat out ridiculous from start to finish and no shocker that YETI was the brand behind the madness. Game changing stuff from Talweg Creative, can’t wait to see what tricks they have up their sleeve in ’17.
Very few films have captured the emotion and beauty of a fishery like Ryan Griffin did this past year with “This is the Lowcountry”. Stunning imagery of the Carolina coast and captivating commentary from a colorful cast made this film a pleasure to watch from beginning to end. Cheers to you Ryan.
Just because you make the best waterfowl content out there doesn’t mean you can make a sick spearfishing video, right? Wrong.
Cana Outdoors brought the heat with a phenomenal sub-surface piece this year. Hope to see more fishing content from them in 2017.

Meaningful and thoughtful narration? Check. Call to action to save our planet? Check. Incredible redfish footage? Icing on the cake.
Big props to the gang at Cold Collab for sharing this powerful message with the fishing community and addressing the serious issue of plastic pollution in our oceans. These guys aren’t just making phenomenal content, but are looking to make a difference as well. We’ll drink to that.
Onward to 2k17!
